Arriving at a new place and not finding information about what you are seeing. This common experience was the starting point for Sanxo, an innovative entrepreneurial project that seeks to democratise access to culture around the world through the use of artificial intelligence. Behind this initiative are Alberto, Luis and Pablo, a team with complementary profiles that decided to put their talent at the service of a clear cause: to make it possible for anyone, from anywhere in the world, to access a personalised audio guide in their own language. This is how Sanxo was born, an app that is already revolutionising the way we travel and learn.

An audio guide for everyone, everywhere in the world

While most similar apps work with limited catalogues, Sanxo differentiates itself by its ability to generate quality content in real time. Thanks to artificial intelligence, it can offer precise explanations, adapted to the narrative style chosen by the user, with different durations and without the need for an internet connection.

The experience, in addition to being personalised, is scalable. Where others need to create content manually for each point of interest, Sanxo automates the process, maintaining high quality standards thanks to a community verification and evaluation system. This allows them to reach more places, faster, and with a broader impact.

Artificial Inteligence with purpose (and responsability)

Artificial intelligence is not just a tool at Sanxo, it is its driving force. But the team is aware that technological innovation must go hand in hand with social responsibility. That is why they are fine-tuning their linguistic models to ensure that the content is culturally diverse, rigorous and free of Eurocentric bias.

In addition, they are developing adaptations for social uses: from facilitating access to cultural experiences for students without resources, to offering an inclusive version for the visually impaired.

From tourism exploration to social impact

Sanxo wants to be much more than an audio guide app. Its long-term vision is to become a global cultural assistant that helps people discover, understand and enjoy the world around them. To this end, they are already forging alliances with cultural institutions and hotel chains interested in integrating this experience into their services.

Sanxo’s team also reflects on what it means to undertake with impact. Their advice for those who want to start a social project: fall in love with the problem, not the solution. Observe, listen and build from there. Because true innovation is not in the technology itself, but in how it is put at the service of a real need.

This initiative is part of the Creactiva School, a space promoted by Jovesólides that fosters social entrepreneurship and innovation as drivers of change. It is funded by the Generalitat Valenciana through the First Vice-presidency and Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing, from the 0.7% of personal income tax.
