Where to start if you have an innovative idea to undertake? Platforms to support young social entrepreneurship

Long ago, the main objective of the companies that were formed, mostly did it to generate an economic benefit for their members.  But currently a new business vision is being developed, and in various entities, whether public, private and even organisations (with/without profits) increasingly seeks to contribute in a positive way to the environment in which they develop, whether socially or environmentally.

This type of approach is known as social entrepreneurship and the companies that promote it seek as an objective the “triple result”, thay is to say that their main efforts are directed to the social and ecological part in addition to the financial result. There are even organisations that do not pursue a financial objective as such, but rather seek to solve or improve a social problem that has not been adequately addressed by any entity or administration.

Every day more countries are joining this type of proposal because there a number of problems in our society that have not received the necessary attention. These type of projects not only benefit the people who receive the support but also those who execute them; because they are forced to think beyond their usual comfort zone. Innovative ideas are generated, which with the appropriate guidance can change the environment of many people in a positive way.

Spain is one of the countries in Europe that is focusing its efforts so that young people become entrepreneurs. The objective of this new trend will not only allow solving social problems, such as exclusion, but in turn teaches people to create original ideas to be able to cope with any adverse situation that arises such as the situation of a country going through a shortage of employment.

Some of the examples of platforms that promote social entrepreneurship that are in place and highlight are the following:
